Overview

Akshíhiēàma Se was founded durring the early 12th century in summer of the year 1140, by Trgarthêm Llywelyn. The establishment of Akshíhiēàma Se was somewhat plagued by a lack of willing colonists, leading to Trgarthêm Llywelyn electing to pay people to resettle in Akshíhiēàma Se.

Akshíhiēàma Se was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the early 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Akshíhiēàma Se is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature delicute timber framework hidden behind layer upon layer of finly ground plaster bleached to an almost glossy white sheen, with green clay tiled roofs and decorative brass-leafed trim. Even the smallest, poorest looking structures appear to be expencive thanks to the extreem elegence of the organic shapes and paterns going into their lofty, spire-y, vagly gothic designs. The more well off folks live in identicle homes, save for even shiner trim and a more whimsical appearance to their structures flowing forms.

Akshíhiēàma Se is buildings are located arround a single spacious packed earth mainstreet which forms a clockwise spiral to give the town a over all circular shape. The town posesses a fortified albit thin wall of querried stone. This wall posesses most of the features of a castle wall, though it is constructed from cheeper inferior stone. It would pose a minor chalange for an attacking army, though it's clear the wall's true purpose is to crush the hopes of bandits and marauders. The town's failry decent fortifications have recently undergone extensive repairs and renovations, such that the repairwork is imeadiently apparent and can be spotted due to the diffring ages of materials. One can't help but wonder what brought the need for those repairs to the town.

Right off the bat Akshíhiēàma Se hits you in the face with its success. Everyone, even the peasants, are dressed in well made clothing. Every tool and implement you can see is finely made, and people will boast to you as obvious strangers of the wonders which can be found in their markets. More interestingly is a total lack of beggars, and plenty of new buildings are going up even as you speak. Somehow this town has come into quite a lot of wealth, and recently from the looks of things. Precisely how it has gained its wealth is a mystery. Akshíhiēàma Se is, in a word, disorder. People seem to be allowed to do as they please with little harmoney to anything. It feels less like a town, and more like a spot people just happened to place their homes. Yet there are small elements here and there which show the underlying structure of the community. It’s just so complex, organic, and flowing one can only understand what is a piece of the puzzle, but not what its neighbors are.

Cultural Notes

Akshíhiēàma Se's town hall was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by towering round arches, massive stone and brickwork, small windows, thick walls, and a propensity for housing art and sculpture depicting mythological scenes. The building's general shape would be a clever and ascetic combination of geometric shapes, which would be blended together by joining elements. The style's decorative features were largely internal rather than external and incorporated semicircular arches for windows, doors, and arcades; barrel or groin vaults to support the roof of the nave; massive piers and walls, with few windows, to contain the outward thrust of the vaults; side aisles with galleries above them..

In Akshíhiēàma Se there is a constant smell of overcooked presumably ethnic food.

History

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century, Akshíhiēàma Se was attacked by savage tribes living nearby Akshíhiēàma Se. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Akshíhiēàma Se lost 227 people, 173 livestock, and 96 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 129, when members of Akshíhiēàma Se's militia enacted an operation to deliver a message to a noble, then secure them. The operation was complicated by enemy spies who revealed the militia's plan. The conflict ended with an assault and siege on the depot, which ended in defeat for Akshíhiēàma Se's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Akshíhiēàma Se's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
